I'm running windows 10, latest steam release (not beta) and same for the steam link. I'm reluctant to spend another 8-9 quid on something that might not work again. I haven't tried using the bluetooth with virtualhere yet. I must be missing something here as it clearly works for other people. I thought that steam big picture, having it's own controller implimentation would map the controller as an xinput. When I do this through the steam link, dolphin doesn't even show the dinput for the pad, it just shows the keyboard and mouse option. This seems to be the problem, steam isn't presenting the controller as an xinput pad. I cannot map using the dinput, it does nothing when I try to map buttons. There are no options for xinput controller. Both dinput, one for wireless controller, one for keyboard and mouse. Launch dolphin to the game select screen, click on controllers with my mouse, shows 2 input options.

Goto controller configuration above and it shows the PS4 controller, all mapped correctly as a 'Gamepad'. Controller options has 'Allow desktop config in launcher" disabled (unticked).

I go to launch dolphin, manage shortcut. The PS4 controller shows as connected, I can navigate the menus no problem. I add dolphin to steam and launch big picture. So I'm on my pc, controller plugged in via USB. To get to this setting, go to manage shortcut in big picture. The most improtant to make sure is "allow desktop config in launcher". Works for me.Īlso, maybe render to main window may help. Start dolphin up through steam and configure the controller. Hopefully someone has experienced the same, hopefully it's a simple fix before I give up and go back to dragging my pc downstairs for super monkey ball mini golf lol. Running windows 10, latest version of steam and the steam link is up to date. Ideally I'd like to be able to use 4 pads for mario party but even one working would be a decent start. Modern 64-bit CPU or equivalent Memory 2 or more Graphics hardware, and 10 or 3 support Modern DirectX 11.1, OpenGL 4.4, or Vulkan Input device (s) Any PC input device mouse and keyboard by default Original Nintendo with Original. Nothing I do can get the pad to show up in the dolphin menu. So what I think is happening is there is no pass-through from the steam link to the pc, this appears to work on everyone else's computer (based on videos) but not mine. It doesn't detect that there are any pads available/connected. I've tried setting the controller up through steam link, I've even tried going onto my pc upstairs while dolphin was running, ending the emulation and looking at the controller settings. It doesn't even let me use the gamepad in keyboard/mouse mode like most other people experience.

I can run any other steam based game using these controllers but as soon as I launch dolphin (with all the full screen, render options etc that people recommend) I get nothing.

I've tried a wired xbox 360 controller and a wireless ps4 controller to no avail. Hi, been tearing my hair out over this as it seems easy to setup based on a couple of videos I've watched but it just won't work for me.
